Membership types that are eligible to vote are Professional, Retired, Lifetime, and Student members.
Associate, Jr. Anthro, and K-12 members are not eligible to vote in the AAA elections.

AAA members will have the opportunity to elect candidates for the Executive Board and Nominations Committee. The final ballot, carefully curated by the Nominations Committee and approved by the AAA Board, includes two candidates for each position—each bringing valuable experience and vision for AAA’s future.
In addition to the main AAA ballot, members will also vote in elections for their respective sections. Members will see section-specific questions and leadership positions on their ballot. These section elections play a vital role in shaping the governance and priorities of AAA’s diverse communities.
