What first sparked your interest in anthropology?
I have always been curious about learning about diverse cultures. Anthropology has allowed me to explore cultures different from my own and has given me a better understanding of what it means to be human.
What tips do you have for the next generation of student anthropologists?
Use anthropology to explore and address pressing global challenges—climate change, inequality, cultural preservation, and social justice. Anthropology is a powerful tool for advocacy and change.
