My Biography

Dr. Barlett’s areas of expertise are economic anthropology, agricultural development, agrarian transformations, and sustainability in higher education. After receiving a PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University in 1975, Dr. Barlett conducted fieldwork in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Georgia (US), and among leaders of colleges and universities around the US.
