My Biography
Laura Roznovsky is the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the American Anthropological Association, where she provides strategic leadership across the organization and leads operations, financial management, and organizational development. She plays a critical role in advancing the Association’s mission by developing new programs and revenue streams that align with long-term priorities and ensure financial sustainability.
In her capacity, Laura partners closely with staff and volunteer leadership to align resources, systems, and goals across the organization. She leads change management efforts for high-impact initiatives and continuously evaluates and strengthens operational infrastructure to support innovation, growth, and member engagement.
Laura serves as the staff liaison to the Finance, Audit, and Association Operations Committees. She holds a BA from the University of Nevada, Reno, an MS from George Mason University, and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
