2026 Virtual High School Interns Showcase: Anthropology Through Infographics

Each summer, AAA welcomes high school students into its Virtual High School Internship Program, a four-week experience where interns explore contemporary anthropological research and translate it for younger audiences.

This year’s cohort of interns, Elizaveta Dyatlova, Vinayak Ramchandani, Evan Xin, and Shanay Patel, spent June researching peer-reviewed anthropological scholarship and adapting their findings into infographics designed for 6th-12th grade readers. Their topics span the discipline: how language and culture change over time, what cockpit culture reveals about aviation safety, how AI affects different communities, and whether diabetes healthcare is accessible for all patients.

Explore their work below, and check back next spring for details on the 2027 application cycle.
