We are pleased to offer AAA members the ability to renew their annual membership automatically. This seamless option will save you time, be easy on your budget, safeguards your information, and eliminates interruptions to your benefits. When you place your credit card on file and select auto-renew, you automatically renew your membership each year using the credit card information you provide until you request otherwise. To learn more, please view the Membership Auto-Renewal FAQ.
You can check your membership expiration date by logging into your member profile on Community Hub (AAA Login) and scrolling to the bottom to view your End Date. Memberships run for one-year based on date of purchase. Memberships purchased from the 1st of the month to the 15th will start on the 1st of that month, and memberships purchased from the 16th to the end of the month will start the following month.
Your username is the e-mail address you provided to the association. If you forgot your password, you can reset it, which will be sent to the e-mail address that you used when you joined or renewed. If you forgot your username or need it changed, please contact us and we will send you a reminder or update your username for you.
To determine your individual membership type, you can review them on our memberships page. Professional, retired, and graduate student memberships are variable depending on indicated salary range, available as low as $59 for professionals, $50 for retirees, and $49 for graduate students, as seen in our “ability-to-pay” chart. Undergraduate, international, and associate memberships are a flat fee.
Please note that AAA members are required to join at least one section, visible on our sections page, and many sections are free to students. Section costs vary from section to section and across section types, ranging from $0 to $68. Please view the Section webpage for specific pricing.
Although we do not have a traditional organizational membership type, we do have departmental partnerships under our Department Services Program (DSP). The DSP is a partnership for Departments of Anthropology, Sociology, Geography, Criminal Justice, Culture, Social Sciences, museums, and allied anthropology firms. The DSP provides department partners with exclusive benefits to assist heads of departments with resources to promote their department, recruit and support faculty and students while simultaneously supporting the AAA's mission of advancing knowledge and solving human problems.
