My Biography
Alex Lord is the Senior Director of Information Technology at the American Anthropological Association, where he oversees the organization’s data systems, integrations, and technology infrastructure. He brings over a decade of experience in data and technology roles within the nonprofit and association sector, with deep expertise in Salesforce administration, enterprise systems, and vendor management.
Prior to joining AAA, Alex served as Director of Data & Technology at the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and as a Salesforce consultant at fusionSpan, where he served as solution architect on projects for clients across the association space. He is a Certified Salesforce Administrator and holds a B.A. in American Studies with a concentration in African & African American Studies from Kenyon College.
