AAA stands in solidarity with our colleagues in the Brazilian Association of Anthropology and supports the statement issued by the Human, Social, Applied Social Sciences, Linguistics, Letters and Arts Forum (FCHSSALLA) repudiating the terrorist acts against Brazilian institutions recently carried out by coup plotters against the State Democratic Law. Such acts of terrorism have no place in a civil, democratic society and will never succeed in undermining the true will of the people.
